Charles Brunette was raised in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, where he was greatly influenced by his mother, Sandra Miller, who was also an inspiring artist. While growing up on Lake Michigan Charles developed his love for art and the outdoors. At a young age Charles felt a 'magnetic' connection to fly fishing and the artistic aspects of the sport. While teaching himself to be a fly fisherman he gained the skills to become a professional fly fishing guide.
At the age of 19, Charles moved from Wisconsin to Florida to pursue his love of art in the film industry, where he attended a private school to learn the skills of a professional make-up artist. He worked in the film industry for six years assisting with multiple commercials, photo shoots, and movies. Charles now resides in Colorado where he is not only completing a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, but using his seven years worth of guiding experience to enhance his inspiration for oil painting and sculpture.
